American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is the $787 billion stimulus package passed in 2009 to rejuvenate the economy. It included tax incentives, infastructure spending, and expansion of various aspects of the social safety net, including unemployment insurance, SCHIP, and food stamps.
