Frieden conducted a study using interviews with 800 leaders among people with disabilities, and the results show that over 90 percent of respondents believed life has improved for people with disabilities since ADA’s passage. Two-thirds believed ADA had a greater influence on their lives than any other “social, cultural, or legislative change in the last 20 years”.
